Bryan Mickle
Maverick Intellect.

To stink, to cheat, to torture, born Bryan Mickle, originated in western Pennsylvania in the halcyon days of the contemporary American malaise, 1975. But for some unsubsidized schooling in literature and art history his writings largely substitute intuition for academic expertise. to stink, to cheat, to torture, named after a famous remark made by American Russian novelist, Vladimir nabakov (the three verbs signifying Nabakov's key cruelties of humankind, as dictated in a 1969 interview for bbc-2) has been called "more of an inaccurate map, framed upside down, than a coherent narrative project."
His forays into deliberated error, reminisce the tradition of stylists such as Georges Perec, Raymond Queneau, and Italo Calvino. They imitate, however, they differ as much, revealing posed inaccuracies, syntactical perversities, and more than a few indulgences of hubris atop the conceptual tricks of his forebears.
"I suppose" he has said,” I sympathize with famous liars like J. T. Leroy and Herodotus less for the decadence of their lying, than I do their courage to disavow a consensus reality. It’s very modernist. Admittedly, I like the decadence too."
