FAQs

How much money do I get per sale?

You can set the price of your CD to any amount over $3. We keep $3 per sale.

How many sales do I have to make to stay on the site?

Doesn't matter how many sales you make. Your CD stays on unless you tell us to take it off.

Do I have to send you mp3s?

No, we will make the mp3s/sound clips for people to download on your MagnaMarketplace page.

I don't have a UPC code. Can I still sign up?

Yup. We don't need one.

All I have is burned copies of my demo. Can I still sign up?

Sure. Our only requirement is the CD must be in a jewel case and include a typed track list.

What if I run out of CDs to sell? Can I have the ones I sent you back?

No. We keep your CDs in stock until they sell or the end of time. Send those eager customers to the MagnaMarketplace to buy your CD.

How much money do I have to make to get paid?

* Our minimum payout is $10. That means the total money made on sales of your CD, minus our $3 commission per CD, needs to equal $10 in order for us to send you a check. If you do not make $10 in a month, the money you have made will carry over to the next month.
